TERMS & CONDITIONS


Agency:
All our products & services are sold as an Agent for third parties like airlines & wholesale companies & other suppliers. Crescent Tours is not a provider of services & has no responsibility for services provided or not provided by any third party. We do not give or make any warranty or representation regarding the standard of any service or product to be provided and no person has authority to make such representation or warranty on behalf of Crescent Tours. All tickets, coupons, exchange orders, vouchers and receipts are issued subject to the appropriate tariffs and terms and conditions of sale of suppliers and these terms. They are issued by us as agent only. We have no responsibility, and extend no guarantees for discontinued promotions, airfares or specific holiday products.

Liability:
Crescent Tours has no liability for any act, omission or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of airlines, car rental operators, ferry companies, hoteliers, tour operators or any other supplier. We have no liability for any loss or damage occasioned by the negligence, act or omission of any supplier or other third party. We reserve the right to cancel or modify itineraries or bookings where circumstances require. In circumstances where liability of Crescent Tours cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel arrangements. Crescent Tours reserves the right to decline any booking for any individual on any tour or other service.

Availability:
Products & services sold by Crescent Tours are subject to availability and can be withdrawn without notice. Access to this site and any site normally linked to this site is not guaranteed and is subject to availability of communications links and access rights. Crescent Tours reserves the right to deny password login on this site to any person or password holder.

Customer Profile:
Please note once we start your booking process, we may ask you to fill in a customer profile form which will enable us to request for your favourite seat, meals or advise the supplier your frequent flyer number, however, filling in the Customer Profile Form does not guarantee that the matters selected in your profile will be available to you. We will endeavour to accommodate your requests but cannot guarantee availability. If you have any queries or if any matter specified is important to you, please contact us. Please also be aware that your profile current at the time of a booking will be used for booking details. This means that you must check that your profile is up to date before making a booking. If amendments are needed at any time, you must make the amendments before making a booking.

Passenger Name:
It is essential that you enter details of each traveller correctly and according to passport or other identification. Some suppliers will deny carriage if the traveller's name varies from your booking and may cancel automatically if the traveller's name is amended. The name that will be shown on the invoice will be the name we will use to issue your tickets. It is your responsibility to ensure the names are spelt correctly on the Invoice and to advise us if any corrections are required before tickets are issued. Crescent Tours takes no responsibility for any changes to names that’s required after tickets are issued.

Special Conditions on Air Fares:
There are numerous rules and regulations affecting most advance purchase and other discounted air fares, which involve substantial cancellation or amendment fees, and in some instances there are no refunds whatsoever on cancelled holidays and or air tickets should you need to amend or cancel your travel plans. If you have any queries regarding these fees please do not hesitate to contact our office. You must read the Rules and check the conditions applicable to every airfare and ensure that you accept those Rules and conditions before you make a booking. If the Rules and conditions are not displayed you should contact our office. Once you confirm a booking and make payment you are bound by the Rules and conditions applicable to the relevant supplier.

Flight Timings, Departure Points, Flight Numbers:
The timings shown on your ticket are subject to reconfirmation on both OUTBOUND and INBOUND journeys. Please contact the applicable Airline at least 72 hours before departure. Crescent Tours does not accept responsibility for amended flight timings or numbers enforced by the Airline.

Baggage Allowances:
International air regulations provide for a free baggage allowance of 20kgs per person. Any charges for baggage in excess of 20kgs will be at the passengers expense.

Frequent Flyer Customers:
Please note if you are a frequent flyer member you should retain your air ticket and boarding pass as Crescent Tours cannot be held responsible for obtaining copies of your air ticket at any future date. Also not all airfares that are used will quality for frequent flyer points. You should check with individual airline if the class under which your reservations is booked qualifies you for frequent flyer points

Special Conditions for Products:
The terms displayed on this website apply generally to all the products and packages sold by Crescent Tours. Some products also have special conditions applying to them. Airlines, hotels, wholesalers and other suppliers have various other terms and conditions relating to the purchase of these goods and services. Some of those terms will be displayed in the rules applicable to a particular product, but not all. For example, suppliers often limit or exclude liability in respect of death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage to baggage, however we do not have those conditions to display. It is your responsibility to check those terms and conditions before making a booking through Crescent Tours.

Alterations to Tour Itineraries by Suppliers:
In the event of material alterations by a supplier to a proposed tour booked by you, you may be given the option of cancelling the tour without penalty but this is not guaranteed. The right to cancel is subject to the conditions of the supplier. Your acceptance of any tickets, coupons, exchange orders, vouchers and receipts will be deemed acceptance of the above conditions and of any alterations made to your tour.

Photo, illustrations and other materials including maps are for promotion purposes only and are not intended to indicate exact route, facility, service, hotel or scene, which may vary.

Website Information:
While every effort is made to keep our website upto date, however, prices & information given in our website is for information purpose only and is not to be constituted as final price until we confirm to you the price applicable to you based on your dates of travel and item inclusions.

Hotel Accommodation:
There is no standard hotel categorisation policy. A hotel which claims to be 5 or 4 star may infact be 4 or 3 star category hotel. You have to use your discretion in selecting your hotel. The best way is to check the hotel websites & refer different travel brochures to ensure that the standard of the Hotel you are selecting meets your expectations. Twin share accommodation is based on share twin or double bedded room as allocated by the supplier. We will endeavour to provide your request for double bed or twin bed rooms, however, the same cannot be guaranteed. It is normal practice of the Hotels to provide triple accommodation on the basis of a twin or double room plus one rollaway bed. Children sharing a room with upto two adults are generall free of charge if they are sharing existing bedding. Most hotels charge a supplement to provide extra rollaway bed. Some hotels offer free breakfast for children, however, check with us if it applies to the hotel you are using.

Travel Documents:
It is very important that you read the following information carefully and contact us if you require any assistance in any area.

Photo ID:
All airlines require the production of Photo ID when checking in with an e-ticket. Your ID must match with the name of the passenger on the ticket.

Passport:
All individuals departing from Australia must be in possession of a valid passport. If your passport is due to expire within six months of your return arrival back in Australia, then under normal circumstances you should obtain a new passport. Should you be travelling on anything other than an Australian Passport then it is your responsibility to obtain the necessary permit to re-enter Australia.

Visa Requirements:
Most Countries require a Visa for entry prior to arrival. Please ensure you are fully aware of the requirements before you make a reservation as visas can take some time to obtain. Check with your Embassy for Visa conditions and Visa rules.

Vaccinations:
Vaccinations are strongly recommended for certain destinations. Please contact your local doctor who will advise you of these requirements. Please note that vaccinations may be recommended some period in advance of travelling. Women who are more than 24 weeks pregnant may be restricted from travelling by certain Airlines & Cruise companies.

Travel Insurance:
We strongly recommend that all clients take out comprehensive travel insurance when making a booking. We recommend that insurance covers loss of deposit and other monies through cancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage and loss of money, medical expenses, additional expenses to cover hotel accommodation and repatriation costs to Australia should any services need to be extended or curtailed due to illness or other insurable risk. Please note that restrictions on the time to effect insurance apply to some services such as airfares. Please contact us to arrange travel insurance before making payment for a service.

Rates & Price Variations:
We reserve the right to vary published rates in the event of changes in exchange rates or price rises made by wholesalers or other suppliers. If the cost of any service increases due to exchange rate fluctuations, price increases, tax changes or any other reason, you must pay the increase when notified. We are not liable in any way if any increase occurs. Rates quoted are per tour, per night accommodation, per crossing ferries, per package; as appropriate to the particular product. Airfares are guaranteed for the day of the booking only. If you book a Airfare and decide to purchase the tickets later, the Airfare that will prevail on the day you purchase will apply to you. Car rental is based on a 24 hour period commencing from the time of pick-up throughout unless otherwise specified. All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice.

Currency:
All rates and prices quoted are quoted in Australian dollars. Any payment paid from outside Australia should be paid in Australian Dollars converted at the prevailing rate of exchange on the day of payment.

Price:
All prices quoted for products & services are for Cash, Cheque, Direct Deposits only. Credit Card payment attract a merchant fee of 1.5% for Master & Visa and 3.3% for American Express & Diners.

Inclusions & Exclusions:
Items included in the prices or rates of the products are specified in each section. Prices do not include, meals other than as stated in itineraries, any air fares unless stated, Government departure taxes, passport and visa charges, vaccination fees, airport taxes, any items of a personal nature such as telephone calls, beverages, laundry, excess baggage charges and gratuities, travel insurance or other items not specified.

Specials & Promotional Deals:
Crescent Tours from time to time may offer special & promotional deals on any products & services. These specials & promotional offers apply only to specified products & services.

Deposits & Balance:
A deposit of $100 per person is payable once we start your booking process. This deposit is Non-Refundable if the booking is cancelled. Full payment of balance due is 60 days before departure or at the time of booking if inside 60 days. Under exceptional circumstances, you may be able to use your deposit for one cancelled product or services to book another product or service. Please check with us for more details.

Hajj & Umrah Groups:
All our Hajj & Umrah Groups are organised in association with Hamdi Pilgrimage Service however we stay in our own upmarket 5 Star Hotels Hotels both in Makkah & Madinah and Hamdi Pilgrimage Services stay in different lower category Hotels . While we will ensure all services are provided according to our package inclusions, however there are certain things which are beyond our control mainly the bus transportation which is provided by United Agents Office & Hotel check-in times. Keeping in view the huge number of people that they handle during Hajj season, there will be long delays when being transported during the whole course of the Hajj. Most of the time it takes between 10 to 15 hours to just transfer from Jeddah Airport to your accommodation in Makkah or Madinah. During the Hotel check-in process, there will be long delay when you arrive at your Hotel before you are allocated your room. While in Mina, since food is organised by the Moallim, they may be delay in food delivered on time. These kind of issues are beyond our control and your decision to book the package with us means you are aware of these kind of issues that you will encounter & that you will not hold Crescent Tours responsible for any inconvenience arising out of these situations.

Group Travel:
All Payment for group tours should be made payable to Crescent Tours. If you decide to pay to the person co-ordinating the group, you may do so at your own risk. Crescent Tours is only liable for payment made direct to us & for which an official receipt is issued, and we are not liable for payment made to third parties. We may have a pre-existing arrangement with an Association or an Individual to pay them certain percent of the revenue generated from group tours for co-ordinating our group tours and your participation in such tours is under the understanding that you are fully aware of our arrangement with the Association or an Individual.

Visas:
Crescent Tours will endeavour to obtain the visa for its clients. However issuance of visa is upto the discretion of the Government of the Country you are travelling to. We cannot guarantee the issuance of visa. If your visa is rejected & you are unable to travel, cancellation charges levied by the Airlines & Hotels will apply.

Cancellation Fees:

Land Arrangements:
Since we pay the Airlines, Hotels & other Suppliers the amount upfront, if you cancel your trip, the following cancellation policy will apply:
60 days before travel 30% of applicable price
60-45 days before travel 50% of applicable price
45-30 days before travel 75% of applicable price
30 days within travel 100% of applicable price
No Show 100% of applicable price
 
HAJJ & UMRAH:
The above Terms & Conditions are for our general travel packages. However for Hajj & Umrah, the Saudi Hotels & other service providers do not refund us the money once we pay them. Therefore you need to fully be aware that you may not get your deposits back immaterial of when you cancel the trip. To protect yourself from huge cancellation charges, its highly recommended to take personal travel insurance policy.
 
Airfares:
Most specials on Airfares will attract 100% cancellations fees if cancelled after tickets are issued. Check individual fare rule before booking & paying for airfares. All airfares quoted are guaranteed if purchased on the same day as the quote.

Consumer Claims:
Should any unlikely situation arise that you have a complaint about any aspect of Crescent Tours arrangements, the complaint should be reported immediately to our local service provider (where possible) or to the management of the hotel, cruise or supplier whose services are involved, in order that opportunity may be given to correct the matter immediately. If any issue is not resolved as they occur, all correspondence will only be considered in writing, with supporting documentation, within 14 days of your return to Australia.
