QUESTION 2: IS YOUR COMPANY REGISTERED & DO YOU HAVE A TRAVEL AGENTS LICENSE?

Yes we are an ASIC Registered Company under ACN No: 120 514 098 incorporated in the State of Victoria in 2006 as Amazing Destinations Pty., Ltd., and trading as Crescent Tours. We also hold Travel Agents Licence No. 32706 issued by the State of Victoria.

QUESTION 3: WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF BOOKING WITH CRESCENT TOURS AS AGAINST BOOKING WITH MYRAID OTHER UMRAH COMPANIES ? AND HOW DO I KNOW IF MY TICKETS ARE ISSUED IN-HOUSE OR BOUGHT FROM THIRD PARTIES ?

With the delicensing of Travel Agency licence requirements by the Federal Government, there are many new entrants in the last 5 years in this market. What stands us apart is, we are Australia’s oldest registered Travel Agency cum Umrah Operators. The advantage of booking with us is, you are going to be dealing with a Company that sources their flight tickets and book Hotels direct with the Airlines and the Hotels. We issue all flight tickets in-house and we don’t buy tickets from other Travel Agencies because if you are not a registered Travel Company, the Airlines will not deal with you. By dealing with us, you are assured of the best price in the market and also if in case you cancel your trip due to any reason, the cancellation charges you are liable to pay are as minimal as possible because there are no third company Travel Agencies involved in issuing your tickets. Operating a Umrah Company requires not just buying flight tickets from third party Travel Agencies and booking Hotels with booking.com, etc. It requires direct contacts with the suppliers like Airlines, Hotels and Transportation Companies & long track record of huge volume of sales to get the best deal from the suppliers and only a registered Travel Agency like Crescent Tours can provide you this service & prices. The way you make sure is to ask beforehand if the flight tickets are issued in-house with any prospective Umrah Company you plan to go with. Your flight tickets should have the name & logo of the Umrah Company you are paying your money to and if it has a different Company’s name, then you are at the mercy of that Company for any changes or cancellations and also it means you have paid more than what you should have paid because there is more than one party involved in issuing your flight tickets.

QUESTION 4: ARE AIRFARES INCLUDED IN ALL YOUR TOUR?

Yes they are included based on Economy class with premium Airlines. If you need Business class, we can advise the supplementary cost.

QUESTION 5: DO YOU ISSUE FLIGHT TICKETS IN-HOUSE AT YOUR OFFICE OR BUY THE TICKETS FROM THIRD PARTIES ?

One of the benefits of travelling with Crescent Tours is we are a proper licensed travel agency having direct relationship with the Airlines and issuing our own flight tickets in-house. We deal direct with the Airlines and do not buy your flight tickets from third parties which eliminates addition cost to your package price. Also when you require changes to your tickets or cancel them and get a refund, as your tickets are issued in-house you do not have to pay extra fees for third parties as tickets issued by third parties get charged heavy penalty for changes to reservations or cancellations. Please be aware of this critical point before you decide to book your Umrah Package.

QUESTION 6: DOES YOUR PACKAGE COME WITH ALL-INCLUSIVE BASIS AND ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN EXTRAS ?

All our Umrah Packages are based on All-Inclusive basis. Whereby it includes all your International & Domestic flights, Taxes & Fuel Surcharges, 5 Star Hotels staying at Makkah Clock Towers (unless not specified), daily open buffet breakfast, Bonus: daily open buffet dinners valued at $500/- , Ziarah tours conducted by professional Mashaikh’s, latest model AC Deluxe Buses & the services of a Professional On-Site Tour Director who will be travel with you throughout the Tour to ensure your tour is conducted smoothly. We also offer you cash back to purchase Ihram, Flip Flop Sandals, Abaya, Umrah Guide Book, SIM Card, Laundry expense & Zam Zam Water.

QUESTION 7: I AM TRAVELLING WITH MY CHILDREN. WILL I GET DISCOUNT FOR THEM?

Yes you will certainly get discounts for children. Normally children below 12 stay and eat free and our policy is to ensure you get the best value for money for your family trip. Please advise the number of children and their ages at the time of enquiry and we will will work out the family price.

QUESTION 8: WE ARE A FAMILY/GROUP OF MORE THAN 4-15, WILL WE GET GROUP DISCOUNTS IF WE BOOK LARGE NUMBER OF FAMILY/FRIENDS?

Yes you will certainly get discounts for large group of people travelling. Please advise the number of adults and children and we will work out the cost and let you know.

QUESTION 9: I AM A SINGLE PERSON? WHO DO I SHARE THE ROOM WITH? CAN I HAVE A SINGLE ROOM?

If you are a single person, we will combine you with another single person of the same sex and you can share the room on twin, triple or quad share basis. However, if you want a single room for yourself, there will be a supplementary cost for that.

QUESTION 10: ARE AIRFARES INCLUDED IN ALL YOUR TOUR?

Yes they are included based on Economy class. If you need Business class, we can advise the supplementary cost.

QUESTION 11: I HAVE MY OWN FLIGHTS BOOKED, CAN I STILL JOIN YOUR TOUR?

Yes definitely. However please make sure that your date of arrival and departure matches the tour itinerary dates that we will provide you once we revert back with tour confirmation.

QUESTION 12: CAN I UGRADE TO A BETTER HOTEL OR A SUPERIOR ROOM IN THE SAME HOTEL?

For Hotels & Room upgrade, I am afraid its not possible. However once you arrive at the Hotel, you can talk to the Front Desk and get the room upgrade by paying the difference in price direct to the Hotel.

QUESTON 13: I AM ARRIVING A FEW DAYS BEFORE THE TOUR STARTS. WILL YOU PICK ME UP FROM THE AIRPORT AND ALSO PROVIDE EXTRA NIGHTS HOTEL BEFORE THE TOUR OR AFTER THE TOUR IF I DECIDE TO STAY BACK FOR A FEW EXTRA DAYS?

Yes that’s no problem. We can advise you the supplementary cost for extra nights once you advise your details.

QUESTION 14: CAN I CHANGE THE ITINERARY TO MAKE A SMALL DETOUR?

Before your flight tickets are issued, you can certainly change your tour program to add extra sidetrips to other destinations. Please advise your plans and we will work out the best options for you.

QUESTION 15: IF I DECIDE TO BOOK NOW. DO I HAVE TO PAY IN FULL NOW OR DO I HAVE TO ONLY PUT A DEPOSIT?

You don’t need to pay anything now. You can just give me your details and after that our Reservation Department will revert back to you with an invoice after which you have one week to put a $500 deposit and the balance can be paid in monthly instalments. Balances need to be paid up 2 weeks before tour departure.

QUESTION 16: ONCE I BOOK AND THEN DECIDE TO CANCEL LATER, WILL I GET MY MONEY BACK?

Once you book and decide to cancel within 3 days, you will get full refund back less any bank or credit card fee and also Airline fee if the tickets are already issued. However, if you decide to cancel at a later stage or just before the tour starts, our standard cancellation charges will apply and you can check our Terms and Conditions page on the website for full information on cancellation charges

QUESTION 17: CAN I BOOK UMRAH ONLY OR DO I HAVE TO BOOK THE SIDETRIP TOO?

Essentially, we are a Umrah Packages Company. Any extra tours we offer as sidetrips are all optional and you don’t have to take them if you don’t want them.
